Marvel Studios just dropped the first full trailer for Avengers: Endgame today and Marvel fans have been going wild. Not only does the film tease the end of an era, but it also hints at the beginning of something new – an unexpected ship between Chris Hemsworth's Asgardian God of Thunder and Brie Larson's Captain Marvel.
While the trailer was busy hyping up the Avengers' determination to bring back all the lives lost during Thanos' Snappening in Avengers: Infinity War, the very end of the video featured a little moment between Thor and Carol Danvers. Dressed in a simple hoodie, the Asgardian approaches Captain Marvel from behind. Carol turns around as the Avenger approaches, and with his hand reached out, Thor summons his ax, Stormbreaker. Carol doesn't flinch, though she gives him a little look that says "You really think that would intimidate me?" when they lock eyes.
Thor then ends the standoff with a smile, admitting that "I like this one."
The trailer ends there, and fans are sent into a new fan-shipping spree.

Could Thor and Captain Marvel really become a thing? Thor hasn't had a moment's respite since Thor: Ragnarok. The Asgardian God of Thunder's already lost so much. In Ragnarok, it was his father and his home. In Avengers: Endgame Thor lost his people and his brother, Loki (Tom Hiddleston). We understand why fans would be excited seeing Thor smile at Captain Marvel in this new trailer for Endgame.
