The international poster for Avengers: Endgame certainly has people talking for a good reason. In addition to being awesome on its own, the poster happens to feature the new and improved Hulkbuster. Luckily, the textless high-resolution copy of the poster offers a better look at Iron Man's sturdy armor.
The Hulkbuster was originally introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron when Tony Stark had to stop the Hulk from destroying Johannesburg. It resurfaced again in Avengers: Infinity War where Bruce Banner wore the armor when he couldn't get the Hulk to join the action. Although the Hulkbuster took a major beating and lost an arm in the latter film, it looks good as new in the new Endgame poster. Take a look at the image below.
The return of the Hulkbuster immediately had fans wondering who will be wearing the armor in Endgame. After all, Tony and Banner are both in the poster, which suggests that a different character will be putting it on in the fourth Avengers film.
So who could probably don the Hulkbuster? There are speculations that it might be Pepper Potts. Although Gwyneth Paltrow's character is already rumored to wear the RESCUE suit in Endgame, it wouldn't be a surprise if it is revealed that she's the one inside the Hulkbuster.
On the other hand, the poster might be trying to mislead fans into thinking anybody else will wear the Hulkbuster. For now, we do recommend taking this with a grain of salt.
The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:
"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
