Avengers: Endgame Concept Artist Reveals Alternate Captain Marvel Design

The COVID-19 pandemic might have forced studios to shut down the production of highly anticipated projects like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, but that doesn't have stopped Marvel from dropping some pretty surprising reveals.

Taking to Instagram, Avengers: Endgame concept artist Andy Park decided to give Marvel fans something to look at by revealing an early costume for Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) inspired by the comic book suit of Mar-Vell.

"Recognize this version's inspiration? This is another design version I did of Captain Marvel for her new look in Avengers: Endgame," the concept artist wrote on his post.

Unlike the suit that Marvel decided to go with in Endgame, this outfit seems to have a whole lot more red to it.

Check out the alternate design for Captain Marvel's costume:

The outfit doesn't really look far off from the costume that Marvel decided to give Carol Danvers in Endgame, but personally, the overflowing red doesn't really seem to suit the Marvel hero.

While there hasn't been that much news about Captain Marvel appearing in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we do know that Marvel is planning to develop a Captain Marvel sequel for Larson in the next phase of the franchise. Perhaps Park is going to offer fans a much, much different design when he joins the crew of Captain Marvel 2. Let's wait and see. Maybe it's going to show more skin.
