The Mad Titan brought an extensive army in his fight against the heroes in Avengers: Endgame. Aside from extraterrestrial creatures like the Black Order and Outriders, Thanos also made the Chitauris his minions. The creatures wore masks in the movie but have you ever been curious as to what they actually look like unmasked?
Taking to Instagram, Endgame concept artist Jerad S. Marantz shares his illustration of what these Chitauri Gorillas actually look like. The creatures look terrifyingly good, but just like what Marantz thinks, it's best for the Chitauris to keep the helmet on. He revealed that this was actually a last-minute design and was approved to be featured in the film in just a matter of weeks. You can check it out below.
Well, it looks like it was a pretty good decision to conceal their faces because they really are scary. Although it would have been cool to see them unmasked in the movie, the helmets were something that keeps them distinct from all the other creatures that Thanos has in his army.
Along with the Mad Titan and his minions, the Chitauris were also killed when Tony Stark reversed Thanos' snap. Unfortunately, it killed the hero in the process too.
