Avengers 5 Title May Have Been Leaked

We're now just a day away before Marvel Studios' much-awaited Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con where they are expected to show sneak peeks of their upcoming projects and make some major announcements about the future of the franchise. So far, none of us exactly know what kind of information they are going to reveal in the presentation, but a lot of fans are hopeful that they'll drop a hint on what the next Avengers film will be.

However, before the studio's big reveal, it looks like the title of the fifth Avengers film may have been leaked. As discovered by a Reddit user in the Leaks and Rumors subreddit, trademarks for Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty were filed today at the European Union Intellectual Property Office for different goods and services categories.

The patent was filed by Mitscherlich, an attorney's office that worked with Disney on patents for other projects. Besides the two Avengers titles, they also filed trademarks for Captain America: New World Order, Thunderbolts, and "Multiverse Saga."

We can't definitively tell right now whether those two trademarks that they filed will be the official titles of the next Avengers films. Considering that they were filed before the studio's SDCC presentation, you can't help but speculate that they might indeed be the official titles and the fact that they have filed the trademarks also hints that Marvel is already underway on developing the film.

Of course, we will never know the right answer until tomorrow when Marvel Studios makes their Hall H presentation or perhaps in their D23 panel this September where they are also expected to make a lot of major announcements about their upcoming projects.
