Avengers 4: Tom Hiddleston On Whether Or Not Loki Is Secretly Alive

There have certainly been a whole lot of theories clinging on to the hope that Loki somehow faked his death in Avengers: Infinity War and now Marvel star Tom Hiddleston has decided to address all the speculation that's been going on online.

Attending ACE Comic-Con last Sunday (via Digital Spy), Hiddleston was asked by a young Marvel fan whether Asgard's God of Mischief faked his own death in Infinity War. Fans who've seen the movie know that in the opening act of the film, Loki is choked to death by Thanos after the Asgardian tries to pull out a knife at the Mad Titan.

While the death broke the hearts of fans all over the world, many continue to believe that Loki just somehow played a trick on Thanos – after all, the Asgardian God of Mischief has faked his own death in the MCU before.

Now, responding to the fan at the convention, Hiddleston decides to remain coy, addressing the different theories that he's heard about Loki.

"I've heard some amazing theories about this," the actor shared with fans at the panel. "I was in a park in London a couple of weeks ago, and some guys come and say 'Hi', and they asked me the same question. They said, 'Hey, listen, we need an answer to this question. All the other times Loki's died' – there have been a few – 'he stabs with his right hand. And now he's stabbing with his left hand.' I was like, 'That's incredible attention to detail!'"

During the panel, Hiddleston's Infinity War co-star Elizabeth Olsen then asked whether he was aware of the detail.

"Your guess is as good as mine," the actor responded.

For one, Hiddleston certainly knows how to field questions. The actor knows how to keep the conversation going without giving information that he shouldn't be giving away. Marvel must probably love sending the actor on tour to help Avengers 4's promotional campaign.
