Avengers 4 Reshoots: Did Chris Hemsworth Accidentally Confirm Valkyrie's Return?

The Avengers 4 reshoots are now ongoing and fans have been doing their best to spot any possible cameos or returns for, what appears to be, the final film in the franchise. Fans are speculating that time travel will play a big part, a theory that gained more credibility after the events of Ant-Man and The Wasp, so everyone's hoping that their favorites come back in some form or fashion.

While most of us are concerned about who will be returning from the dead, a recent Instagram post from Thor actor Chris Hemsworth may have revealed the return of someone who wasn't in Infinity War; Valkyrie, played by Tessa Thompson.

On Instagram (via Screen Rant), Hemsworth revealed that he was done with the Avengers 4 reshoots and that it's time to finish making the Men inBlack reboot. For a split-second, you can see Tessa Thompson in the background, though Hemsworth himself barely spotlights her. She is his co-star for the upcoming Men in Black film, but the fact that she is joining him in the plane implies that we could be seeing Valkyrie in the next film.

Last seen in the hilarious Thor: Ragnarok, Valkyrie was MIA in Avengers: Infinity War. Fans assumed that she was either killed by Thanos, or was allowed to escape with half of Asgard since Thor mentions the Mad Titan killing half of his people. Even the Russo Brothers have confirmed that she was alive, but didn't want to say what actually happened to her.

Marvel has been hyping up the fact that Avengers 4 is going to be a swan song for the current iteration of the MCU, with Spider-Man: Far From Home possibly acting as an epilogue and/or fallout chapter since it is set after the film.

Avengers 4 is set for release on May 3, 2019.
