Avengers: Infinity War basically decimated the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the only living members left were Rocket Raccon and Nebula. The pair will be coming back for Avengers 4 and actress Karen Gillan teases a new ally for Nebula in the film.
Talking to Fandango, Gillan reveals:
"I know who her new BFF is, and I can't tell you. I can't. I promise you it's brilliant and unexpected and just so good…I don't know about any frenemies. She is on a clear mission, as everybody is, to deal with someone with a glove, and I think that is the most important issue. So I think people are grouping together to take care of this task."
Seeing that Nebula is already a pretty hostile character, I'm curious who she would be paired up with in the film. Rocket is the obvious choice, with them being the only remaining Guardians, but I wouldn't be opposed to her being friends with someone from Earth like Bruce Banner or Tony Stark.
Though Thanos may have killed half the universe, a lot of people are positive that everyone will be making a return by the end of Avengers 4. After all, Spider-Man still has a film trilogy to star in, and the Guardians are all set to come back for Vol. 3.
