There is little doubt that Nebula is eager to avenge the death of her sister Gamora after she was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. Interestingly, Karen Gillan has revealed how her character will murder the Mad Titan in Avengers 4.
Gillan recently made an appearance at the ACE Comic-Con in Chicago (via ComicBook.com). The former Doctor Who star shared her idea of how Nebula will ultimately face Thanos in Avengers 4 and kill the adoptive father that tortured her for several years.
"I would like to maybe take the Infinity Gauntlet, put it on, and then strangle him with it and then say like, ‘Bye, Daddy,' or something," Gillan said.
It's certainly an appropriate way to end the life of the Mad Titan. Nebula's hate for Thanos would ensure that she would never mess up the assassination, unlike Thor in Infinity War. However, it is important to point out that this is simply Gillan's idea of how her character will get revenge on her father and does not indicate that this will happen in Avengers 4.
Gillan has previously confirmed that she worked on some reshoots for the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star even teased that Nebula will be getting a "new BFF" who might ultimately help her in her mission to get rid of Thanos. Needless to say, we are rooting for Nebula on this one since she has a personal vendetta against the Mad Titan and it would be amazing to see Gillan back in action.
The still-untitled Avengers 4 is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.
