Avengers 4 is coming out next year but fans wish it would come out tomorrow, just so they can know the fate of their favorite heroes who've turned to ash. Everyone also wants to know what the post-Infinity War status quo will be like, with rumors circulating about a five-year time jump and time travel playing a factor to make everything okay again; for the most part. Chris Evans did basically say goodbye to the role a few days ago after all.
Some Infinity War concept art from Daren Horley recently emerged (via ComicBook.com) and it has also revealed something interesting; the possibility of seeing Iron Man's classic armor from early comic books.
What's shown here is essentially Tony's "under armor," with his mastery of nanotechnology helping make the suit look better. With rumors of Tony's "golden sleeves" look running amok, this piece of concept art shows that it could be a possibility. We'll have to wait and see if that actually happens but if this is Robert Downey Jr's final movie, this would be one hell of a way to end his legendary run.
For those unfamiliar, the "golden sleeves" look is the second or third update to Iron Man's original costume, as Stark previously had a bulky looking suit that fans caught a glimpse of in 2008's Iron Man. While the golden sleeves are a bit silly, and the suit itself looks less like armor and more like a red and gold swimsuit with a mask, it does have a special place in fan's hearts.
Avengers 4 will hit theaters on May 4, 2019.
