Avengers 4: Here's What Iron Man's Proton Cannon Would Look Like In Action

Any Marvel fan is currently wondering whether Iron Man will be wielding the Proton Cannon in Avengers 4. After all, the latest set photo teases the powerful weapon and its possible appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel.

Not surprisingly, online artist Bosslogic has decided to create an amazing image of Tony Stark using the Proton Cannon. Take a look at the photo below.

We certainly agree with Bosslogic on this one. The Proton Cannon would be a truly useful weapon against Thanos and other incoming threats in Avengers 4. Hopefully, it would be a great way to confirm why Doctor Strange decided to sacrifice the Time Stone in exchange of Tony's life in Avengers: Infinity War.

Although the Proton Cannon has not made an official debut in the MCU, it was first spotted in the Avengers HQ in Infinity War. It can be seen in the background while James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) was in a heated discussion with General Ross (William Hurt). In addition to that, it also showed up in the Russo brothers' "Look hard" photo. Let's hope that we'll finally see the weapon in its full glory in Avengers 4.

The Proton Cannon might not be the only thing Tony will be working on in the sequel. A leaked image of the new Avengers 4 suits also suggests that he has created a Rescue suit for Pepper Potts. Gwyneth Paltrow has also been spotted wearing a motion capture suit on the set of the film so there is a huge possibility Pepper will be joining the action really soon.

Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019.
