The new trailer for Captain Marvel has shown us a glimpse of Carol's powers, which has been likened to that of Thor and even Scarlet Witch. In the comic books, Carol possesses superhuman strength, the ability to absorb energy, and incredible speed. Interestingly, she also has "cosmic awareness", which allows her to predict her enemy's moves and see the consequences of certain actions. This particular superpower could prove to be useful when facing Thanos in Avengers 4.
It's a cool theory that confirms just how powerful Captain Marvel could be. Hopefully, all of Carol's abilities will be on full display in her standalone film so fans can get a glimpse at just how she will defeat the Mad Titan in Avengers 4.

Captain Marvel will hit theaters on March 8, 2019. The still-untitled Avengers 4 is scheduled for release just two months after on May 3, 2019.
