Avengers 4 Hasn't Finished Shooting Yet

Many had assumed that Avengers 4 has wrapped up production, with a number of actors saying that they have finished filming their parts. Of course, many assumed that this wasn't the end yet since reshoots have become a big part of Hollywood blockbusters, though some worry about them since they basically ruined Justice League.

During an interview with ComicBook.com, Infinity War directors Anthony and Joe Russo stated that Avengers 4 has not finished filming yet. They didn't go into too many details about what still needs to be shot but it's clear that the duo still has a lot on their hands, pointing out that no editing for the fourth film has been done yet.

"And so, right now, we have not edited that movie at all. So we haven't even gone through that whole phase of finding that film. Not only that, we haven't even completely finished shooting it. We still have to shoot some stuff to complete the movie and even though we've shot the vast majority of it."

Rumors have been running rampant about the film, from the inclusion of time travel and the involvement of an adult Cassie Lang, who many Young Avengers fans know as Stature. There is also a ton of speculation on the film's title, with many thinking it will either be called Avengers: Endgame or Avengers: Forever, the latter being a tribute to Kurt Busiek and Carlos Pacheco's epic mini-series that also involved time travel.

We still have a long way to go before Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019. Fans can still check out Avengers: Infinity War if they haven't seen it yet.
