Avengers 4 Hasn't Finished Filming Yet, According to Mark Ruffalo

It seems like Avengers 4 hasn't finished filming yet, despite a number of stars saying goodbye via social media a few months ago. Most of us were aware that reshoots would happen and that these stars would return but these aren't ordinary reshoots; at least according to Mark Ruffalo, the man who plays as The Hulk and his alter-ego Bruce Banner.

Speaking with TheMarvelists podcast, Ruffalo revealed that there is still a lot of shooting going on and that they're doing it to "finish the movie." Ruffalo also confirmed that these reshoots will start this month so expect a few leaks here and there, even a few fake ones.

"Well, we're doing reshoots starting in September. And then we'll go back into the international tour, we'll go on tour. Then you guys will get the second installment. Which we don't even know what it's gonna be yet. We're not just doing reshoots, we're going to finish the movie, which we really didn't get to finish totally when we left it last year."

What won't surprise fans is the fact that the cast still doesn't know what's going on. Ruffalo claims that scenes change all the time, with some that were originally finished getting reshot because a new idea came up, hence the confusion. Marvel has been notoriously secretive about Infinity War and now Avengers 4, though fans think that time travel will play a huge part in it.

That or Ruffalo is keeping his mouth shut.

"I don't even know that they really know exactly. Some of it is happening while we're there. It's pretty amazing. And we'll shoot some stuff and a few days later come back and reshoot it cause we wanna take it in another direction. It's a very living organism, even as we approach it being a locked picture, we're still working on it."

Admittedly, there's still plenty of time before Avengers 4 comes out so Marvel is allowed to make sure that their magnum opus goes out with a bang. Considering how Infinity War left many of us emotionally scarred, we can only hope that the sequel lives up to all the hype and anticipation.

Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019.
