Avengers 4 Directors Troll Fans With Possible Title Reveal Video

The Russo Brothers should really be careful with what they post on social media. Fans recently got excited over a video that Joe and Anthony Russo shared on Twitter because it looked like the co-directors have revealed the official Avengers 4 title. However, it wasn't what it appeared to be.

The Russo Brothers recently posted a video captioned Avengers: Infinity War | Sacrifice on Twitter. The five-minute video features footage from Marvel Cinematic Universe films where the characters make their own personal sacrifices. It's an emotional video showing what everyone in MCU had to endure in the past 10 years. However, most fans also mistook it for the Avengers 4 title reveal. Check out the post below.

The video was created by TheGaroStudios and the Avengers 4 directors were clearly so impressed with the creation that they decided to share it on social media. They probably didn't think much about the caption since it does say "Infinity War" and the thumbnail is a screenshot of a grieving Tony Stark. Unfortunately, it looks like we have to wait a little longer before the sequel's title will be revealed.

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has previously stated that the Avengers 4 title might be confirmed after the premiere of Captain Marvel. This way, fans can still focus on Carol Danvers' story and enjoy the Brie Larson film. We can worry about our superheroes after that but in the meantime, most fans continue speculating about what will happen in Avengers 4.

Captain Marvel will premiere on March 8, 2019. The still-untitled Avengers 4 is scheduled for release on May 3 later on the same year.
