Avatar: The Way of Water is a much-awaited sequel that took more than a decade to come into fruition and while nothing has been made official yet, World of Reel recently reported that the movie will be running for approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes, only four minutes short from Titanic.

In comparison, the first Avatar film only ran for 2 hours and 42 minutes, and it easily etched its name as highest-grossing film before Avengers: Endgame dethroned it. Now, the sequel is expected to be bigger than the first movie.

Directed by James Cameron, if Avatar: The Way of Water clocks in with 3 hours and 10 minutes, it would be one of the longest movies he would have in theaters.

It will explore Pandora in a new perspective with the immersive nature of the planet and it will dive deeper into the means and ways of the Na'vi people.
