Avatar: The Last Airbender Live-Action Adds Teen Wolf Actor in Undisclosed Role


The cast of Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender series just got bigger. The upcoming live-action reboot has just added Teen Wolf star Arden Cho along with The Babysitter's Club actress Momona Tamada, and Simon Chin from Sonic the Hedgehog 2!

Arden Cho's casting was reported by Knight Edge Media which purports that the former Teen Wolf actress has confirmed she is currently in Vancouver to film a new show. Although Cho's role has not yet been confirmed, there are speculations that she will play the bounty hunter June who is hired by Zuko and Uncle Iroh to track down Aang.

In addition to Arden Cho, the Netflix series has reportedly added two more actors in undisclosed roles. Avatar News reveals that Momona Tamada and Simon Chin will be joining the cast of the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender. Tamada is best known for her role as Claudia in The Babysitter's Club while Chin had recently appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

For now, the three actors' roles have not yet been revealed. However, there is a possibility that the castings will be announced soon. In the meantime, it was previously reported that the series is looking to cast a character who sounds like Kuruk, a previous incarnation of the Avatar.

Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender will star Gordon Cormier as Aang the Avatar, Kiawentiio Tarbell as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, Dallas Liu as Zuko, Elizabeth Yu as Azula, Daniel Dae-Kim as Fire Lord Ozai, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Uncle Iroh, Maria Zhang as Suki, Ken Leung as Commander Zhao, Lim Kay Siu as Gyatso, Yvonne Chapman as Avatar Kyoshi, Tamlyn Tomita as Yukari, and Casey Camp-Horinek as Gran Gran.
