Over on Twitter, producer and animation advocate Lauren Montgomery shared the update informing fans that her team in Avatar Studios is hiring character designers ASAP.

The job posting reads: "Avatar Studios is looking for a highly adaptable, self-motivated Character Designer to join our team. The Designer will help conceptualize and develop the look of characters for the upcoming Feature and produce designs from early concepts to final model sheets".

"The Character Designer should understand how to convey storytelling through character design, and have tight draftsmanship to match and further develop the existing art styles of the Avatar/Legend of Korra series. Their designs should resonate and help enhance storytelling by developing the look, costuming, personality, and feel of the characters."

The job is looking to hire artists who have passion for Avatar, Japanese anime, and all things animation. The full-time position is not easy to fill, but it's necessary. The studio didn't reveal any details about what future Avatar projects they're working on, but fans should be delighted to hear that the creators have bigger plans for the fantasy franchise, which is not surprising since the success of the original Nickelodeon series that ran from 2005 to 2008 helped the franchise build a strong fanbase.

If you think you have the drive and passion to join Avatar Studios as a character designer, you can apply via the website of ViacomCBS here.
