Attack On Titan's Studio MAPPA Hits Back at Animator Pay Controversy

MAPPA may very well be the top dogs when it comes to animation in Japan but the acclaimed production studio has had its fair share of controversies over the last couple of months concerning its animators.

Just recently, veteran animator Ippei Ichii blasted Netflix and accused the streaming giant of paying animation studios, most notably MAPPA, a "lower than average" rate for its productions. Obviously, it would force the animation studios to pay their animators below average rates as well.

Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 will premiere in Winter 2022.
