While there’s no word yet on the show’s official premiere date, Attack on Titan revealed a new collaboration with Sanrio – an unexpected collab given how dark the series is and how cheery Sanrio’s characters are.

This new collab features a selection of merchandise featuring Attack on Titan and Sanrio characters, with unexpected pairings like Eren and Pochacco as well as Reiner and My Melody.

The new collab merchandise was shared by AnimeAnime.jp, and the collection includes sticker sets, can badges, and more (via Crunchyroll).

Attack on Titan: The Final Season Collabs

The series is no stranger to collaborations as there have already been a lot of crossovers such as the Attack on Titan Secretlab Gaming Chair and the more recent E-DINER collab café.

Aside from being a popular series, it’s likely that the show’s final season is driving interest in these collaborations. After all, Part 3 of The Final Season is set to air next year.

In case you need a refresher, Attack on Titan is a manga series by Hajime Isayama that was serialized in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from September 2009 to April 2021.

It then received an anime series adaptation by Wit Studio in 2013 which massively boosted its popularity.

Following the first season’s success, the anime was renewed for two more seasons with Wit at the helm, but for the final season, production was transferred to MAPPA.

While it is called The Final Season, it is spread out over three parts, with each part airing in winter.

The first part aired in December 2020 and ran for 16 episodes. Part 2 continued the story and aired from January to April 2022, featuring 12 episodes.
