Attack on Titan may be over, but creator Hajime Isayama is working on a new manga project in collaboration with Eren VA Yuki Kaji.
This new manga may be in development by two notable names from Attack on Titan, but it won’t be related to the franchise. Instead, it will be a manga that’s part of Kaji’s new anniversary project.
Eren VA Yuki Kaji is Celebrating His Debut Anniversary With New Manga
Yuki Kaji is perhaps one of the biggest names in Japan’s voice-acting industry. Aside from being the voice of Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan, he has also played other iconic roles like Shoto Todoroki in My Hero Academia and Kenma Kozume in Haikyuu.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut as a voice actor, Kaji announced the Soyogi Fractal project.
The full details of this project will soon be revealed, though for now, only a visual has been shared. Also confirmed is the fact that the new one-shot manga by Kaji and Isayama will be part of it.

Hajime Isayama and Yuki Kaji are Looking for an Artist to Draw their New Manga Project
Since the end of Attack on Titan, Hajime Isayama has not released any new major work aside from some bonus chapters. Thus, this upcoming one-shot manga will be his first new project in a long time.
Interestingly, he won’t draw the illustrations for this series. Instead, Isayama will only work on the manga’s storyboards while Kaji handles writing duties.
Thus, Kaji and Isayama announced that there are auditions open now for an artist who will draw the manga’s art based on the storyboards.
As part of the audition’s promotion, the initial storyboard pages have been released on the official website. This audition will be open until April 30, 2024.

When Will the Soyogi Fractal Manga Be Released? Our Predictions
Currently, the manga is only confirmed to be released in Weekly Shonen Magazine and Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from Kodansha, and there’s no word yet on a release date.
As the audition for the manga’s artist is happening until the end of April, we likely won’t see the manga released anytime soon.
Chances are that it’ll take some weeks or months before the one-shot is finished. Thus, we may be looking at a mid to late 2024 release.
