Attack on Titan Fans Still Disappointed over Episode 87 Delay

There is little doubt that the end is coming for Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2. However, The Final Season will not conclude today. It has already been confirmed that Episode 87 will be delayed by a full week due to a special program on NHK General TV. Still, that hasn't stopped fans from expressing their disappointment over missing out on the season finale!

Several weeks ago, it was announced that Attack on Titan Episode 87 will be delayed due to a special program on NHK General TV. Instead of airing on March 28, the episode will be pushed back and premiere on April 4, 2022.

This isn't fresh news but that hasn't stopped fans from talking about their disappointment that they won't get to see Attack on Titan Episode 87 this week.

There is a good reason why people are hyped up for Attack on Titan Episode 87. Although it is set to be delayed, the episode will have a longer runtime, taking up a full hour to tell its story. In addition to that, fans are convinced that the episode will conclude with a confirmation for another cour or a movie that will adapt the manga's final chapters.

For now, it has not yet been confirmed if The Final Season will get a Part 3 or if MAPPA will work on a movie to adapt the final chapters of the manga. However, there is a huge chance the next project will finally be announced after the broadcast of what is supposed to be the series finale. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 28 is titled The Dawn of Humanity ("Jinrui no Yoake") and is named after the manga's Chapter 130. Episode 87 will premiere on Monday, April 4, 2022, at 12:05 AM JST.
