The end is almost here. With the release of Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 27, there is only one more episode to look forward to in The Final Season. However, fans will still have to wait a little longer to see the season finale. Attack on Titan Episode 87 will not be broadcast next week and will instead be dropped in the first week of April!

It was previously announced that Attack on Titan Episode 87 will have a longer runtime compared to its predecessors and will take up a full hour. However, it would also be pushed back by a full week due to a special program that will take its original timeslot on NHK General TV.

Since the announcement, people have been hoping that the programming will be shifted and that Attack on Titan Episode 87 will be broadcast on the last week of March. Unfortunately, there haven't been any new updates and the last episode of The Final Season is still set to air in April.

It might be a long wait but there is little doubt that it will all be worth it. Attack on Titan Episode 87 is already expected to be the best one this season. If things work out as anticipated, we'll finally get to see Eren Yeager's return and get a glimpse at the Attack Titan's new look.

The preview for Attack on Titan Episode 87 already confirmed Eren's return after being absent for the past few weeks. The final episode could also reveal how Eren planned everything right from the start and will stop at nothing to achieve his goal.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 28 is titled The Dawn of Humanity ("Jinrui no Yoake") and is named after the manga's Chapter 130. Episode 87 will premiere on Monday, April 4, 2022, at 12:05 AM JST.
