Attack on Titan Episode 89 Will NOT Premiere Next Week


Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 has finally arrived and not surprisingly, the lengthy premiere has proven to be the anime's best episode so far. However, viewers shouldn't set their schedules for the next episode just yet. Attack on Titan Episode 89 is currently not scheduled to premiere next week.

Attack on Titan Episode 88 Celebrated As Anime's Best

The special premiere of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 did not disappoint as we saw Eren Jaeger's conflicting emotions while leading the Rumbling. The alliance between the scouts and warriors also put up an epic fight as Hange Zoe sacrificed themself to take down numerous Colossal Titans while Armin Arlert led the faceoff with the Beast Titan.

Although it was a loooong episode, Attack on Titan Episode 88 still concluded on a cliffhanger as Armin demanded to know which part of Eren is truly free. Needless to say, fans are eager to see the next events in the follow-up episode next week. However, it looks like we have to settle down for another long wait.

Attack on Titan Episode 89 Gets Fall 2023 Release Date

As soon as the Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 premiere concluded, the anime's official Twitter account dropped a new teaser for the second cour. The announcement video confirms that the second part of The Final Part will be broadcast in Fall 2023. This means fans will have to wait another few months before finding out how the alliance will manage to defeat the Beast Titan.

For now, it has not yet been revealed whether the second cour will consist of one long episode or several shorter ones. Nevertheless, the second part of The Final Season Part 3 is expected to give the anime the conclusion it deserves.
