ASTRO Moonbin’s last messages on different social media platforms garnered attention following his death.

The K-pop industry suffered another major loss following the passing of Moonbin. The ASTRO member was found dead by his manager inside his Gangnam home on April 19.

Fans continue sharing outpouring messages of love and grief as they mourn the late K-pop idol. At the same time, they look back at the touching messages he left before his death.

ASTRO Moonbin’s Last Messages on Universe

In January, fan platform Universe — where several idols and groups became members, including Moonbin — announced that it would shut down its service starting Feb. 17.

After Moonbin’s death, fans shared the last chats he sent to everyone through the platform before the termination schedule. The messages read:

“let’s make lots of memories in other places too.”
“then i’ll go now.”
“live well!!”
“bye for real now.”
“let’s see each other later~~”

Other fans, however, clarified that these messages should not be seen as a “sign” or “hint” before Moonbin’s death.

ASTRO Moonbin’s Last Instagram Posts

On the other hand, Moonbin’s last post on ASTRO’s official Twitter account also started receiving messages from fans who wanted to express their deep condolences and sadness.

As shared on Nate, the late idol shared a photo of a dandelion on April 11 alongside the caption, “Roha (ASTRO’s fandom is Aroha/Roha), this is a dandelion flower! Dandelion ah~ Spread out and fly away with the wind! To my precious people, spring has come. Please tickle me gently.”

Moonbin’s fans became more emotional as they remembered how sweet the idol was to them, as if they were his family. As the messages resurfaced, they also paid tribute to him and sent him heartwarming messages.

Fantagio confirmed his death in the wee hours of April 20 after local Korean news outlets reported that he was found dead by ASTRO’s manager. The Seoul Gangnam Police Station confirmed in a statement that the idol died on Wednesday around 8:10 p.m.

According to his manager, he went to his house after not being able to call him.

ASTRO Moonbin’s cause of death is yet to be determined. Police confirmed that an autopsy would be done.
