ASTRO Moonbin already has a target role once he lands a spot in a TV series or film.
Before Moonbin debuted in ASTRO, he famously debuted as a child model and ulzzang. His visuals immediately caught people’s attention, that he was tapped to appear in TVXQ’s music video for the song, Balloons.
Since then, he has continuously appeared in TV series and web dramas. After playing different roles, the K-pop idol shared what character he wants to play next.

ASTRO Moonbin Shares Plan in Acting Career
In an interview with Arena Homme Plus magazine, Moonbin was asked what roles he wants to play in the future. The K-pop star even mentioned the famous Marvel Cinematic Universe, saying that the franchise made him want to play a villain role.
“I’m someone who believes strongly in justice, but there are occasionally times when I understand villains in a movie. In the Marvel [Cinematic Universe], there are times when villains are just, and there are times when you want to root for them. I’m curious about [taking on] the role of a just villain who’s also somewhat like a psychopath,” he said.

Moonbin is yet to find a drama that can give him that role. But his fans know he can easily portray any role because of his previous projects.
So far, he already has 10 TV and web series under his belt, including Forever Young, Moment of Eighteen, My Romantic Some Recipe, Sweet Revenge, The Mermaid Prince, and No Going Back Romance, among others.
ASTRO Moonbin Preparing Himself Before Acting Again
Like other actors and actresses, Moonbin also has his way of preparing before starring in a series. For his part, he reportedly spends time writing to help his imagination grow.
According to the K-pop idol, he writes things and tries to translate his thoughts into metaphors. With that imagination, he has an easier time whenever he is on stage or when he is acting.
For now, fans can see Moonbin’s skills again once ASTRO drops their reported new album next month.
