Aquaman’s Jason Momoa On The Justice League Members He Wants For The Sequel

Aquaman might focus on one only one member of the Justice Leauge, but it looks like Jason Momoa is hoping that some of his other friends from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice could make an appearance in the film and the film's sequel too.

Speaking in an interview with Collider, Momoa was asked about other DC Extended Universe heroes that he would like to have seen in Aquaman. According to Warner Brother's Arthur Curry, he would have wanted to have Ezra Miller's Flash in the film, saying that it would have been great to have his friend on set.

"I love Flash. I absolutely love [actor] Ezra [Miller], he's like family to me. Just to have him on set...but you can't have Flash come strolling through the set, it just doesn't work," Momoa shared with the news outlet.

Momoa would have also wanted to have Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman appear in a sequel, saying that he'd love to see Diana working together with Flash in Aquaman 2.

"I think Wonder Woman would be pretty rad, too. Flash and Wonder Woman would be my first two. I don't wanna pick one, so I'll pick two," the actor explained.

While it would have been pretty cool to have a few Justice League cameos in the first Aquaman movie, director James Wan wanted to make a comic book film about Arthur Curry independent of any other film in the DCEU. Creating a gorgeous underwater world is a daunting task in itself, and Wan wanted to put all his focus on Aquaman and on Atlantis.

Hopefully, now that we've established Aquaman's underwater world, we can get to see a few of the Justice League playing around in Aquaman 2.

Aquaman comes swimming into cinemas December 21, 2019.
