Aquaman’s Jason Momoa Hints At Collaboration With Thor: Ragnarok’s Taika Waititi

Could Marvel's darling filmmaker Taika Waititi be planning to work on a DC Extended Universe project? Because it looks like the director might be planning to work on a project together with Aquaman star Jason Momoa.

Yesterday, the DCEU star took to Instagram to share a couple of photos of himself together with Waititi. The two seem to be having a deliciously good time together in the pictures, sharing a couple of beers arm in arm with each other.

"LEGEND good times with the cuzzy bro @taikawaititi Can't wait to make art with you. So much respect. Aloha j," Momoa wrote in his post.

Though the two don't seem to have any current project listed for them, this caption does certainly tease a collaboration between the two. The only question is for what. Could Waititi be planning to work on a little side project with Momoa as his lead star? Could the filmmaker be planning to work on Aquaman 2? A DCEU spinoff maybe?

While fans might want to believe that this collaboration could either have something to do with Marvel or with DC, it's more likely that the two might be planning to work on a project outside the comic book movie genre.

Maybe Waititi is planning to work on another indie film, this time with Momoa playing the lead role. After all, Waititi was an indie darling before he was tapped for Thor: Ragnarok. His indie films like What We Do In The Shadows and The Wilderpeople did pretty well.

What do you hope the project could be? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
