It's been close to a year since Amber Heard lost the multi-million defamation lawsuit her ex-husband Johnny Depp filed against her. Since then, the controversial star's personal and professional life has experienced a downward spiral.

Now, rumor has it that Heard has made up her mind and wants to live a quiet life with her daughter in Spain.

According to a recent report from Daily Mail (via ScreenGeek), Amber's decision to move to a different country wasn't just because of her desire to stay away from the defamation lawsuit spotlight and protect her child, Oonagh Paige.

Apparently, the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom star wants to move on with her life and has chosen to quit her acting career.

Alison Boshoff of Daily Mail reports: "I can reveal that Heard has quit Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain with her young daughter Oonagh. A friend said: ‘She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise.'"

Interestingly, the report also claims that Amber could still return to Hollywood "when the time is right" but for now, she intends to raise her daughter away from all the controversies which is of course the best way to go about things.

As it stands, Heard or any of her representatives have yet to address the rumors but the idea of her stepping away from acting doesn't sound too farfetched at all. Considering how Hollywood has already tainted her image, it would be best for her to keep things in her life as lowkey as possible, especially for her own's daughter's sake.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is slated for theatrical release on December 20, 2023.
