Aquaman Director Teases Underwater Fight Scene from the Film

We still don't know when we're going to get the first trailer for Aquaman, but a lot of fingers are crossed that we get it at the San Diego Comic-Con next month. To celebrate getting a Funko POP version of himself, director James Wan has decided to give us a little teaser from the editing bay.

Check it out:

We don't know who exactly is in the scene, but I would be psyched if they were Jason Momoa's Aquaman fighting Patrick Wilson's Orm/Ocean Master. Maybe it's even Black Manta before he gets the iconic helmet.

After the disappointment that was Justice League, WB had decided to put the DCEU on hold in order to sort out where the franchise was going. This has led to a lot of delays, ending with Aquaman being the only DCEU film to come out in 2018.

Hopefully this is received more in the tone of Wonder Woman as compared to Justice League.

For now, we know that the Shazam! teaser is coming to SDCC 2018, but everyone is still hoping that we get our preview for Aquaman during the event as well. If we're lucky, WB will show us the teaser way before the event. We don't want two DCEU properties trying to steal the spotlight from each other.

Aquaman comes out Dec. 20.
