Fans are more than excited for the upcoming Aquaman movie, especially after that spoilerific five-minute trailer blew away everyone's expectations. The movie is also one of the few Western movies that will be showing in China, which only allows a couple of Hollywood films to screen in their country. So it's not too surprising to know that a trailer made for Chinese audiences was made and it looks fun.
The trailer isn't as epic as that five-minute one that blew everyone away since it decides to switch between the actors describing the film and showing scenes from the movie. It's kinda cute since we get to see the charisma of these actors and they do a fun job, though some would argue that it's kind of cringe-inducing. Seriously, would Momoa really flex for that reason?
Aquaman isn't the only superhero movie coming to China as Sony was able to secure the release of Venom in that country as well. Considering the country's wealth, it's easy to see why so many film companies want to get their films in that place. DC managed to get a big win by being able to secure their film to show there so that's a lot of extra money.
In the movie, Aquaman will be taking on his brother Oceanmaster and Black Manta, who is briefly seen in this trailer. He'll be teaming up with his future wife Mera and there will be no Justice League crossover, though it will be set after that movie.
Aquaman comes out on December 20.
