Anthony Mackie Says Avengers: Infinity War Is The Most Human Marvel Movie Yet

The battle between Thanos and the Avengers might be the biggest draw to Avengers: Infinity War, but the first installment in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie isn't just going to be about CGI fight scenes.

Speaking to press outlets during a set visit (via Comic Book), Falcon star Anthony Mackie tells fans that Infinity War is "going to be very different," saying that the film is going to be the "most human" entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet.

"There are gonna be a lot of shocking moments, and I think the fans are gonna get more than they expect out of this movie, from all the characters," Mackie explained. "I think this is the most human of the Avengers movies, of all the Marvel movies, so I think you'll be really surprised to see how normal these superheroes can be."

One of Marvel's strengths is showing the humanity in its superheroes so it doesn't really come as a surprise that the studio would add more emotional weight to Infinity War.

Here's the synopsis of the film:

"Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet -- the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment. "

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27.
