Anthony Mackie recently shared a brand new look at his Captain America suit in Captain America: Brave New World.
Fans have been looking forward to the upcoming MCU film since it is Sam Wilson's first leading movie as the new Captain America and it is expected to have a grounded tone that harkens back to The Winter Soldier.
It will also follow up on the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier where Sam officially took over the mantle and set him up as one of the main heroes in the MCU moving forward.
Anthony Mackie Shares New Look at His Captain America: Brave New World Suit
In celebration of the Fourth of July, Mackie posted a new photo of his superhero suit in Captain America: Brave New World on his recent Instagram post.
While the photo didn't reveal any spoilers or glimpses about the story of the film, it is an awesome new look at Mackie's Captain America suit as it shows that he is ready for action while holding the iconic shield.
"Happy Birthday America! Have a great 4th, see you soon…" he wrote in his caption.
The timing of Mackie's post is appropriate not just because it is the Fourth of July, but it is also Captain America's birthday and the photo is an example of the character's continuing legacy.
The film recently wrapped its reshoots where they added more action sequences and included Giancarlo Esposito's mysterious character in the story.
While most of the details regarding the film are still under wraps, fans might learn more about it soon as Marvel Studios is set to have a Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con later this month.
Captain America: Brave New World is slated for release in theaters on February 14, 2025.
