Ant-Man and The Wasp: Bill Murray Confirms Villainous Quantumania Role

It's no secret that Bill Murray will be one of the major new additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in next year's Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. But who is the Zombieland star playing in the highly anticipated MCU sequel? Murray himself has shared an interesting update on the character he will play in Ant-Man 2 and amazingly, he admitted that he's playing the villain in the movie!

Last year, Bill Murray created a huge buzz when he somehow admitted that he is working on a Marvel film. People immediately began speculating on Murray's character in the sequel and the role he will play in the ongoing storyline. Although the Garfield actor hasn't spilled any details yet, he did confirm that his character's superpower is not being nice.


"My power is I'm a bad guy," Murray said with a laugh during an interview on The Eli Manning Show.

Now that's an interesting revelation considering that everyone was hoping that Bill Murray will play a major role in Quantumania. Although there were initial speculations that he was only doing a small cameo in the MCU flick, fans now believe that Murray will be a truly important baddie in the storyline.

But who is Bill Murray playing in Quantumania? A recent rumor points to the possibility that he has been cast as an obscure comic book villain named Krylar. The evil scientist terrorized The Hulk in the comics, using a special machine that brought a person's greatest fear to life.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is directed by Peyton Reed and also stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, and Jonathan Majors. The film is scheduled for release on July 28, 2023.
