Ant-Man and the Wasp: Evangeline Lilly Snaps at Male Actors Who Complain About Their Costumes

Hope Van Dyne may have taken a backseat with the first Ant-Man, but now she's sharing the spotlight with next week's Ant-Man and the Wasp. Evangeline Lilly is taking on the role, and she has something to say about men who complain about their superhero costumes:

Being the first woman with "powers" in the MCU, Lilly has every right to call out her male co-stars. Then again, her rant does have something to say about how women are used to enduring discomfort in order to look presentable.

When it comes to superhero outfits, there are all types of ways they can get uncomfortable. For one, Olivia Munn had to be lubricated into her Pcylock suit from X-Men: Apocalypse. Alexandra Shipp, who plays Storm in that movie, also revealed that her crotch went numb when they were shooting the scenes where she was flying. Ryan Reynolds was annoyed that his new suit for Deadpool 2 still didn't have a zipper for him to pee out of.

While everyone is eagerly anticipating Captain Marvel, MCU fans are still excited to see Lilly in action as the Wasp. Let's just hope that Ant-Man can keep up.

Ant-Man and the Wasp comes out July 5.
