Ant-Man and The Wasp Concept Art Reveals Hank Pym in Yellowjacket Suit

Ant-Man and The Wasp was a pretty good time, offering some fun comedy and decent enough character moments that make it a worthy installment in the MCU. Like all comic book movies, however, fans often ponder about other possibilities that could have made the movie better.

One of the film's concept artists has shared an early image about the sequel's exploration of the Quantum Realm and it gives us a fairly interesting visual; Hank Pym wearing the Yellowjacket armor. MCU fans recognize Yellowjacket as the villain from the first Ant-Man movie but comic book fans know that Pym used the alias quite a few times so it would have been interesting to see what he would have looked like in the sequel.

The film has Pym wear a generic outfit that was used to protect him in the Quantum Realm. There was a brief moment where Pym thought he saw Yellowjacket but it ended up being his wife Janet Van Dyne aka The Wasp.

Unfortunately, Pym assaulted Janet as Yellowjacket in the comic books, which might be why they didn't have him use the outfit or alias in any of the movies. Sure, he was having a mental breakdown but the damage was done and Pym became fairly unpopular with fans for a time.

Ant-Man and The Wasp will be coming to Blu-Ray and digital outlets soon.
