Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star Kathryn Newton reflected on her work in the MCU movie in comparison to her other projects.

Last year, she made her MCU debut in the polarizing third installment of the Ant-Man trilogy where she played the grown-up version of Cassie Lang and became involved in the main action of the film.

So far, her MCU future remains to be seen, but there have been speculations that she will be part of a Young Avengers project as hinted in the final scene of The Marvels.

In an interview, Newton opened up about her experience working in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in comparison to the recent horror film Abigail.

To what may be a surprise for some fans, the actress calls her work in the MCU movie the "easiest job" of her career despite the large scope of the project.

"I think the Marvel movie, actually. But I don't know... This was, physically, actually harder than Ant-Man. Ant-Man was the easiest job of my life. It was really fun... And this one was just as fun, but it was different," she explained.

"We had a real set, we had real props, real people. So whatever inspiration you get is from what's happening right in front of you and I didn't have to make it up, there was no green screen. And that was much more freeing than I was prepared for."

It is an interesting comment coming from the actress since most fans have considered working on an MCU movie to be challenging due to the massive undertaking of a project on this type of scale.

All we can say for now is that Newton has a different perspective in her experience and it won't be the same as the other actors who have also been in her position.

Hopefully, we will hear news soon regarding Newton's MCU future and the rumored Young Avengers project to find out what's next for Cassie Lang.
