Avengers: Infinity War is not the only Marvel movie to tease some interesting progress. While we know that a number of Avengers will be in the blockbuster 2018 movie we also know that the standalone films for the individual Avengers each have their own respective production dates.
The latest one is the sequel to the successful Ant-Man, starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas. The latter actor confirmed on his Facebook not only the start date of filming, but also the fact that he will be on the set.
"Getting ready to play Dr. Pym again in Ant-Man 2 shooting in July. Need to start growing the goatee now."
Douglas was already slated to come back when the sequel was under negotiations. He spoke with Collider early on, stating his elation for the sequel and a few of his hopes of how the sequel will go.
"Hopefully, I won't have to carry quite as much exposition and dialogue as the first one, but I had a wonderful time doing it, just a great, great time."
If you ask me, Douglas is already on a good start towards growing that goatee.
Ant-Man and the Wasp doesn't have a release date yet. Other cast members confirmed for Ant-Man and the Wasp include Rudd, Michael Pena, and Evangeline Lilly.
