Years after starring in the ill-fated Inhumans series, Anson Mount made his return to the Marvel Universe as he reprised the role of Black Bolt in the recent MCU film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. However, this time around, he played the Earth-838 version of the character who is also a member of the Illuminati.
A lot of fans were delighted by Mount's return in the role as they never thought that he would ever play the character again given that the series was widely panned by both fans and critics when it aired a few years ago. Recently, the actor finally broke his silence as he addressed his surprise cameo in his film and now he shared a behind-the-scenes look at his appearance.
Mount posted on Twitter a short video clip of his rehearsal on the set of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. As you can see, he was practicing his superhero landing as Black Bolt and also thanked the film's stunt team in his caption. You can check it below:
While the video clip that he posted didn't really reveal a lot, it is still awesome to see a small glimpse of the work that Mount did when he was on the set of the film and you can feel that he is happy that he was able to play the role again in some capacity which was also received well by fans.
Mount is also in a great streak of his career at the moment. Not only does he show up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but he is only currently starring in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds as Capt. Christopher Pike. It would be curious to see if Marvel wants him to play Black Bolt again in a future MCU project which is now more possible thanks to the multiverse.
