Annabelle Comes Home Trailer Reminds You Not To Trust That Doll

If there's one thing that we've learned since the first Conjuring movie, it's that the creepy doll can never be trusted to stay in one place. Unfortunately, some girls have yet to learn that lesson in the terrifying trailer for Annabelle Comes Home.

The trailer opens with Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) placing Annabelle in a special glass cabinet. "It's safer for these things to be in here than out there," Ed warns. However, that turns out to be a really bad move.

The Warrens are shown leaving the house and their daughter Judy (McKenna Grace) in the care of two babysitters (Madison Iseman and Katie Sarife). When Daniela asks where the "creepy stuff" is hidden, Judy tells her that they are locked up in a room "so we're safe."

Unfortunately, that's not enough warning for Daniela, who immediately heads down to the basement. Her innocent little visit may have led to terrifying things happening while the Warrens are away.

Annabelle Comes Home is the third movie focusing on the doll. However, there is little doubt that producer James Wan still has a lot of scary scenes prepared even for anyone who has seen the doll a thousand times.

The film's synopsis reads as follows:

"Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her "safely" behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest's holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens' ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends."

Annabelle Comes Home will hit theaters on June 28.
