Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd were rumored to be dating last year after they were photographed together. Even though there was not a single proof to confirm the rumors, multiple publications insisted that there was something going on between the two.
The dating rumors featuring Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd died down a bit in the last couple of months, only to pick up once again this week.
The Weeknd’s New Songs Are About Angelina Jolie
Life & Style, in its Jan. 31 issue, claimed that The Weeknd’s new album, Dawn FM, is dedicated to Jolie. After all, some of the songs in the album seemed to have been written by The Weeknd with Jolie in mind.
The lyrics of The Weeknd’s new song “Here We Go… Again” goes “My new girl, she’s a movie star. I loved her right, make her scream like Neve Campbell.”
Another song from the album titled “Starry Eyes” goes, “You weren’t [expletive] by a man in so long…”
An unnamed source linked the lyrics of “Starry Eyes” to Jolie’s surprise revelation last year. The actress confirmed during an interview that she has not dated anyone since her divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016.
“The lyrics are clearly about her. Things are heating up,” the unnamed source said.
Angelina Jolie Is The Weeknd’s Ultimate Muse
Last week, multiple publications also claimed that Jolie is The Weeknd’s ultimate muse for his new album. However, Us Weekly claimed that there’s nothing romantic going on between the A-listers.
“Angelina and The Weeknd have had a few meetups, but there is nothing romantic going on between them — at least that’s what friends are told,” a source said.
The A-listers also, allegedly, connected with each other because Jolie’s children love listening to The Weeknd’s songs.
“They’re crazy about him and they love him and his music. They’ve all become quite buddy-buddy, and the kids find it so cool that their mom has a connection with The Weeknd,” the source said.
Angelina Jolie, The Weeknd Are Just Friends
But in September of last year, another source claimed that there was something romantic going on between the two, and Jolie seems to be more interested in The Weeknd than the other way around.
“He’s been pouring on the charm and going out of his way to impress her. Both Angie and Abel are telling people that they are just friends, but those who know them think something romantic is going on,” the source said.

Angelina Jolie’s Sons Prefer Jonny Lee Miller Over The Weeknd
Earlier this month, National Enquirer published an entirely different story about Jolie and The Weeknd. The publication claimed that the A-listers stopped hanging out because Jolie’s children don’t like the singer.
Maddox and Pax, Jolie’s two oldest kids, also allegedly, think that their mom’s budding romance with the singer is creepy. The teenagers are both rooting for Jolie and Jonny Lee Miller to get back together.
“Angelina is sensitive to the kids’ feelings but doesn’t try to hide anything from them. So, whenever it’s date night they’re well-aware – even though Abel hosts Angie at his place 99 percent of the time. She books a booty call with Abel whenever she has the time,” an unnamed source said.
In October, Jolie, Miller, and The Weeknd were accused of being in a love triangle. After all, Jolie and Miller were photographed hanging out in the actor’s car just days after the actress went out with The Weeknd.
However, the conflicting stories from the different publications prove that there’s nothing definitive going on between Jolie and The Weeknd.
