Angelina Jolie recently opened up about her new book, Know Your Rights.

On her Instagram account, The Eternals star said that the book could change the lives of everyone. Angelina Jolie also expressed her excitement over the success of her book, which was first released in the United Kingdom last month.

In a lengthy post, Jolie talked about the importance of having an equal society.

"When children and young people have the agency, power, and knowledge to speak up, they can change the lives of both young people and adults, helping to achieve a more equal society. That is the message of our new book, which was written in consultation with young activists around the world — and is for them, and all the many young people fighting for their rights globally," Jolie wrote.

Brad Pitt's ex-wife also revealed that she's inspired by young people around the world who fight for human rights on the frontlines.

According to People, Jolie has been an advocate for human rights for years. And she's incredibly passionate about women and children.

In 2000, the Maleficent actress also started working on important issues such as immigration, health, and education.

Jolie has been using her Instagram account to promote the issues that are closest to her heart.

Her first post on the platform featured a letter that she received from a young girl from Afghanistan.

"This is a letter I was sent from a teenage girl in Afghanistan. Right now, the people of Afghanistan are losing their ability to communicate on social media and to express themselves freely. So I've come on Instagram to share their stories and the voices of those across the globe who are fighting for their basic human rights," she captioned the photo.

A day later, Jolie shared what it was like working with displaced people because she's passionate about human rights. The actress explained that she's doing this not out of charity but because she has so much respect for the displaced individuals and their families.

The mom of six also used Instagram to share two of the books that her daughters enjoyed reading over the summer.

One of the books is The Bluest Sky by Toni Morrison, which is Zahara Jolie-Pitt's favorite. Akala the Dark Lady, on the other hand, is Shiloh Jolie-Pitt's favorite.

Besides her new book Know Your Rights, Jolie is also busy promoting her upcoming movie with Marvel Studios, The Eternals.

In the film, Jolie plays the role of Thena, a legendary fighter who has a lot of weapons. And this is the first time that the award-winning actress will give life to a superhero.

During a previous interview, Jolie revealed that another studio asked her to portray a superhero, but she turned down the opportunity. After all, superhero films are not usually what the actress likes to do.

But when she was approached to play the role of Thena in The Eternals, Jolie found herself saying yes because there was something different about the character. Jolie also felt that Thena was very driven.

The Eternals is slated for release in theaters on Nov. 5.
