Andy Serkis' involvement in Andor came as a massive surprise to Star Wars fans. Given how the 58-year-old actor previously appeared in the sequel trilogy as the disappointing villain Snoke, viewers were naturally drawn to the idea that his character Kino Loy has connections to the Supreme Leader, something that Serkis has already debunked on more than one occasion.

Snoke theories aside, Kino Loy was a character received well by fans of the hit Disney+ show and his "death" left many quite unhappy. While Serkis enjoyed his time on the project, he admits that filming Andor wasn't exactly a walk in the part, claiming that one particular scene messed with his head.

In an interview with BBC's The One Show, the Marvel and DC actor shared his bizarre experience while filming on the show's Imperial Prison set and how unpleasant it was. He explains: "This set was one of the most weird sets to ever work on. Because it was totally desensitizing. We were all in bare feet, had these kind-of-paper costumes, which felt like hazmat suits. And, in the story, the floors are all electrocuted. So, you know, for weeks and weeks, we were just walking on these-- in bare feet, on these metal plates... in a sort of oppressive environment, which is, of course, it's the Empire prison ship."

He continued: "There was nowhere to kind of hide or sit down or be comfortable. It was just like you were constantly-- it really messed with your head, you know, as a set. As a piece of set design, it was absolutely brilliant". Check out the interview below:
