He then proved his acting abilities in the 2006 Longford and his versatility in voicing the character of Captain Haddock in The Adventures of Tintin trilogy, directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Peter Jackson.

If these franchises are not yet enough, he also joined the Star Wars universe with his role as Supreme Leader Snoke in The Force Awakens. He reprised the role in The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.

He then did Batman in 2022 as Alfred, Bruce Wayne’s butler.

Aside from acting, Andy Serkis is also actively working behind the camera. In fact, he founded The Imaginarium Studios, which specializes in Performance Capture technology, with the film producer Jonathan Cavendish.

He, too, was the second unit director for The Hobbit movies, while he made his directorial debut in the 2017 movie Breathe.
