Andrew Garfield Hilariously Teases Amazing Spider-Man 2's Rhino Fight Outcome

Spider-Man: No Way Home was a massive box-office success, thanks to the three-generation of Spider-Man who made an appearance in the film. Seeing Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire together wearing their classic Spider-Man costumes is definitely one of the biggest cross-over that Marvel could pull.

Aside from the three Spider-Man, we also witnessed villains from different Spider-Man franchises like Doctor Octopus, Electro, Lizard, Sandman, and The Green Goblin. These villains come from different universes and the former rivals of Tobey and Andrew's Spider-Men. However, one particular villain missing in action that could easily set up a Sinister 6 lineup for the Spider-Man universe. That villain is no other than Paul Giamatti's Rhino.

While Rhino didn't get much screentime in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and only appeared as a cameo that teases a threequel of the film, fans still wonder what happened after Rhino's brawl with Garfield's Spider-Man.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Andrew Garfield teases what happened in his brawl with the Mechanical-Giant villain.

"If I remember correctly, what happened after that, was not suitable... because it was so brutal [laughs]... I have no idea. That's where the script ended, and that's where our movie ended. So you get to choose your own adventure with that one. What would you have liked to have seen happen?"

In the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Andrew's Peter Parker revealed that he took down Rhino when he started pulling his punches after his love interest, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) died.

It's unfortunate that Sony did not continue the franchise and proceeded with Tom Holland as the new Spider-Man. But with how things are going with Marvel and the concept of the Multiverse, any possibilities are now open. The Spider-Man Universe could also set up a future Sinister Six project that will give Rhino a longer exposure as a villain.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is still showing in some theaters and scheduled for digital home release on April 12.
