Analysts Expect Justice League To Have A Better Opening Weekend Than Thor: Ragnarok

It looks like there's a lot of anticipation building up over Justice League. Though Warner Brother's burgeoning DC Extended Universe had a bit of trouble getting off the ground with the divisive Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the critical failure that was Suicide Squad, the studio managed to turn the tide around with the release of Wonder Woman.

Now, everyone's expecting a lot of good things from Justice League. Not only does Zack Snyder's superhero team up movie have good box office tracking, but it seems like box office analysts predict that Justice League will have a much better opening weekend compared to Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok.

Taking to Twitter, Umberto Gonzalez from The Wrap brings great news for DC fans. Though he cautions everyone to take his post with a "grain of salt till official tracking drops next week," the writer says that tracking on Justice League is actually pretty good.

Meanwhile, analysts at the Box Office Pro have just released their forecast for the next two month's movie releases, and according to the site's analysis, Justice League's going to come out with $150 million during its opening weekend.

That's quite a bit more compared to Thor: Ragnarok which is anticipated to earn $105 million at the box office during its weekend opening. Though these numbers could very well change during the film's actual run, we're really hoping that Justice League does as well as everyone expects.

Justice League premieres November 17, 2017.
