Amy Schumer's Raunchy Star Wars Cover Wasn't Authorized By Lucasfilm

Apparently, the Star Wars-themed GQ cover and photoshoot of Amy Schumer sucking on C-3PO's finger and having a threesome with droids weren't sanctioned by Lucasfilm.

According to EW, sources say that the film company did not authorize the shoot, and were surprised to see the characters in the photo spread.

Since parody is protected speech, there may not be any legal action to take. Asked for a statement, the company's public relations representatives said: "It's not surprising that GQ would want to capitalize on the cultural cachet of Star Wars, but Lucasfilm and Disney did not authorize, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner."

Schumer's reps and GQ did not immediately respond to a request for comment. You can check out the photos here.
