Amy Jo Johnson paid tribute to her fellow Mighty Morphin Power Rangers co-star Jason David Frank, who died of apparent suicide at age 49.

Amy Jo Johnson’s Career
Born in Dennis, Massachusetts, Johnson’s priority was her career as an Olympic gymnast.
However, in a massive twist of fate, she was forced to retire after sustaining a severe injury. She then put her eye on acting and attended the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
After moving to Los Angeles, she focused on her acting career full-time.
From there, she joined the cast of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as the Pink Power Ranger Kimberly Ann Hart.
Thanks to this role, Johnson rose to international prominence overnight.
This opened a lot of doors for the actress, letting her play different roles in various projects.
She guest-starred and co-starred in Susie Q, Saved by the Bell: The New Class, Killing Mr. Griffin, Without Limits, Perfect Body, Felicity, Spin City, Wildfire, and Flashpoint.
She also has multiple soundtrack albums and released three official albums and an EP. Her latest project is the 2019 TV mini-series The Has Been.

Amy Jo Johnson Pays Tribute to Jason David Frank
Johnson is mourning the loss of Frank in a post on Instagram after the latter’s death was announced on November 20.
“Jase, you were beautiful and truly unique. My life just won’t be the same without your frenetic, hilarious, caring, driven and creative ball of energy,” she captioned her photo with the late actor. “I will always love you, dear friend. Please Rest now In Peace….”
She also posted an emotional video, where she could be seen crying, dedicating it to Frank.
Another Power Rangers co-star Walter E. Jones, aka the original Black Ranger, confirmed Frank’s passing.
“Can’t believe it… RIP Jason David Frank,” he wrote in his own post on Instagram. “My heart is sad to have lost another member of our special family.”
Frank’s rep also released an official statement to confirm the news.
“Unfortunately, it is true, please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being,” it read, via Hollywood Life. “He loved his family, friends and fans very much. He will be truly missed.”
Johnson and Frank worked together in the original Mighty Morphine Power Rangers from 1993 to 1996, and its movie iteration in 1995, captivating fans with their on-screen romance.
