Innersloth has confirmed the Among Us Release Date for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5. The hugely popular game is, of course, already available on Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile. If you've been waiting for the opportunity to experience this game on Xbox or PlayStation, you don't have long to go. Here's everything you need to know.
Among Us Release Date
Let's cut to the chase. If you want to get hold of Among Us for Xbox or PlayStation, there are a few dates to be aware of, depending on where you live around the world.
Among Us will be available on Xbox and PlayStation from 14th December 2021, if you live in the UK or Europe. If you live in South Korea or Japan, it's 16th December. And if you live in the USA, Canada or Latin America, you've got slightly longer to wait. For you, the game will become available on 11th January 2022. On these dates, you'll be able to access the Among Us: Crewmate Edition. We'll talk more about the various editions in a bit.

What Is Among Us About?
In case you've never heard of Among Us before, what are the key points of the game? Well, Among Us is an online multiplayer game, in which each player takes on a role in one of a variety of settings. You can play with between 4 and 15 other people. Most of you will play as crewmates, who need to complete tasks to stop your ship from being destroyed. But one or more randomly selected players take on the role of Imposters, whose role is to try and sabotage the tasks and kill all the crewmates while evading detection.
This simple premise has made the game enormously popular, and its collaborative nature, heavily reliant on teamwork and social deduction, has made it something of a hit.
What Versions Can You Order?
There are three different versions of Among Us scheduled for release. Initially, the Crewmate Edition will be available, but in 2022, the Imposter Edition and the Ejected Edition will also be available. Let's look at each of these in turn.

The Crewmate Edition includes the following:
- Among Us base game and all of the DLC items: Airship, Polus and MIRA HQ Skins, and Hamster Pet, Bedcrab Pet, Brainslug Pet, Stickmin Pet, and Mini Crewmate bundles
- Retail Exclusive "Innersloth Cosmicube” which features cosmetics from prototypes that never became full-fledged games
- 3D Lenticular Case
- Impostor Syndrome Sticker Sheet
- 1 of 12 Special Mira HQ Holographic Access Cards
- Folded Skeld Map Poster designed by Cannon Kissane
- Redeemable Code for 6 PC/Phone Wallpaper
The Imposter Edition includes everything from the Crewmate Edtion, plus:
- Crewmate vs Impostor Lanyard
- Purple Crewmate Plush
- Spinning Into Space Enamel Spinner Pin
And the Ejected Edition will include all of the above, plus:
- Crewmate Fleece Blanket (60in x 90in)
- Red Impostor Beanie
- Limited Edition Ejected Edition Box
The Imposter Edition and the Ejected Edition are notionally scheduled for release on 31st March 2022. But it's unclear if these will be available worldwide at launch, or limited to certain geographic areas.
