Little details about American Horror Story Season 11 emerge after sources revealed some familiar faces who would return to the series. Not only that, the new season’s production has reportedly begun, giving a glimpse of the show’s theme.

No concrete details about American Horror Story Season 11 are known so far, knowing its creator Ryan Murphy loves to bind every new season to secrecy. However, it looks like nothing can escape the awaiting fans.

American Horror Story Season 11 Cast

Sources told Deadline that returning cast for the new season would include some of the most familiar faces, like Zachary Quinto, Billie Lourd, Isaac Powell and Patti LuPone.

Quinto was seen in the series’ first two seasons, famously known for playing the role of the deranged doctor Oliver Thredson in Season 2’s Asylum.

Alternatively, Lourd debuted in Season 7’s Cult and appeared in Seasons 8 to 10. She was also part of the spinoff American Horror Stories on Hulu.

Lastly, LuPone was the nosy neighbor Joan Ramsey in Season 3’s Coven.

Of course, there will also be new faces joining American Horror Story Season 11. Sandra Bernhard, who was part of Murphy’s FX project Pose, will join the show, along with Joe Mantello, who worked with the producer on Netflix’s Hollywood and HBO’s The Normal Heart and Charlie Carver, who was in Ratched.

American Horror Story Season 11 Production

Daily Mail reported that the series’ new season production started in Manhattan’s West Village on Monday, August 8.

At the time, Powell and Carver were seen kissing on the set.

Though little is known about their roles, Powell will reportedly play the role of Theo, while Carver will be seen as Adam.

American Horror Story Season 11 is maybe set in the 1970s, judging by the stars’ costumes. Powell was wearing a retro vest showing his chiseled chest, six-pack abs and bulging biceps.

She was carrying a bag of groceries, wearing a patterned blouse tucked into her black jeans with a purse slung over her shoulder and boots.

In addition, photographers also spotted Lourd filming on the streets of Manhattan’s West Village.

If the rumors are true, American Horror Story will take place in and around the Midtown Manhattan disco club Studio 54, which was famous from the late 1970s to the early 1980s.
